Week 1 - Introduction to Positive Psychology and it’s immediate application to Performers.


Week 2 - Making the shift from Fixed to Growth Mindset. 


Week 3 - Flipping our language for empowerment. 


Week 4 - Building Resilience in the face of rejection. In this four-part workshop, participants will learn how the practical application of Positivity Psychology can support their unique journey as artists. They will learn to recognize Fixed mindsets and to how shift those to Growth mindsets. They will also learn techniques to work with their language, performance anxiety, and how to set SMART goals to move forward in addition to cultivating positivity through gratitude and savoring.

About Heather

Heather Petruzelli is a NYC based soprano that has had the privilege of performing professionally in opera and concert music, operetta, musical theatre, and big band jazz. Additionally, she serves as the Head of Voice and Music for the Molloy College/CAP21 BFA Theatre Program, teaches for the NYU: Tisch/Lee Strasberg Program and has been on voice faculty at AMDA-NY since 2001.
